Fundraising Chair: Howard Stotland
Hope & Cope Board Member Howard Stotland lived the adventure in 2011 reaching the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. He is an experienced climber who thrives on adventure. He also has a special connection to Hope & Cope – he grew up in the home that houses the Wellness Centre, and he is so pleased that his childhood home now does so much good for so many people.

A retired entrepreneur who co-founded and built a highly successful multinational retail software company, Howard is a well-respected community leader and generous philanthropist whose easy-going manner, ability to motivate everyone around him and wonderful sense of humour make him the perfect person to chair this important fundraiser.
Co-Chair: Alice Lehrer
Alice Lehrer is an active community volunteer and retired occupational therapist, taught fitness and had a business in home health care and sports medicine. A firm believer in the healing power of exercising in nature, Alice founded Hope & Cope’s Mourning Walk, a weekly walk on Mount Royal for those coping with loss as a result of cancer. Six years later, she still facilitates many of these walks. Neither pouring rain nor winter blizzards are enough to deter Alice from showing up at the appointed time, reflecting her desire to be there for those who are grieving and to help them get back on their feet.
Co-Chair: Sharyn Katsof
Sharyn Katsof is a dietitian with decades of professional experience as a food and nutrition educator in hospitals, schools and community organizations. Passionate about food security and sustainable agriculture, she initiated several projects involving neighbourhood, community-based planting and farming. She is a certified yoga and cross-country ski instructor and an avid hiker. In 2015, Sharyn joined Hope & Cope as a co-facilitator of our Mourning Walk program, which offers weekly walks on the trails of Parc Mont-Royal for anyone who has lost a loved one to cancer.
Co-Chair: Lisa Boucher
A native of the beautiful Beauce region near Quebec City, Lisa Boucher is a self-employed business consultant and co-founder and co-president of a private firm specialized in intellectual property valuation, and is currently working on another venture pertaining to contemporary and abstract visual art. In September 2015, she joined Hope & Cope as a volunteer on the Palliative Care Unit, providing comfort and support on a weekly basis to patients and their families. A hiking enthusiast with a passion for the outdoors, Lisa jumped at the chance to co-chair this important fundraiser.
